What is Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT)?
Auditory Verbal Therapy is an evidence-based approach that helps children and adults who use hearing aids or cochlear implants learn to listen and use spoken language, following a structured progression from sound awareness to full comprehension.
How do I know if my child's communication development is on track?
Compare your child's skills against age-based communication milestones (for example, babbling by 6 months, first words around 12 months). Our Early Childhood Communication program includes a milestone checklist to help you screen for red flags early.
Are your programs a replacement for clinical diagnosis?
No. Our screening tools and apps are designed to guide families toward the right next step, not to replace a licensed audiologist, speech-language pathologist, or physician. Always follow up with a qualified clinician for diagnosis and treatment.
Who can refer a client or partner with Hearing Vibes Foundation?
Clinics, hospitals, schools, and individual clinicians can refer clients or propose a partnership through our contact form. CSR partners can also collaborate with us on hubs, camps, and subsidized programs.
How is my donation used?
Donations fund free and subsidized access to our four programs for families who could not otherwise afford them, including app access, clinician time, and outreach camps.
