Evidence & research

Evidence-informed practice, clearly communicated

Hearing Vibes Foundation aims to make its evidence architecture visible. We use established guidance where available, identify where programs are adaptations for community use, and avoid presenting emerging concepts as established clinical facts.

Healthy ageing

Program design draws on the World Health Organization's Integrated Care for Older People (ICOPE) framework and related healthy-ageing guidance.

Auditory Verbal Therapy

Program principles are aligned with established listening and spoken-language approaches, including AG Bell Academy guidance.

Child development

Developmental milestone resources are informed by established public-health and paediatric guidance, including CDC milestone resources.

Postpartum wellbeing

Educational screening concepts may reference validated literature such as the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale, with appropriate referral and non-diagnostic positioning.

Evidence hierarchy

  1. Established guidance: recognised guidelines, standards and validated frameworks.
  2. Evidence-informed adaptation: practical community implementation based on established principles.
  3. Program learning: HVF pilot observations and outcome data, clearly labelled as local program evidence.

Research transparency

Where we publish original work, the Foundation will distinguish research findings from service claims and provide study details, methods, limitations and relevant links.
